In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Apparently, I started this blog on 25 October 2015. That makes it close to six years of this blog’s existence. That’s not too bad, ain’t it?

I find it interesting that my very first post is a quick recommendation/review of the website Quran.com. I hope that I will continue to have an affinity for the Quran as the guiding book in my life. I also hope that people’s hearts will open up to read the book and that they will see why I will always go back to it.

I myself have not read the Quran in its entirety, both in Arabic and in the English translation. I hope to be able to do so before I leave this temporary world.

Today, I woke up to great news from H Hustler. He has explored a way to get our clothing line, Street MOB Clothing, going. So now, it’s on me to revamp the website and relaunch it.

As for Smiling Greens, I will need to aggressively source for buyers to expand G Hustler’s customer base. Campaigning is nice and all but I do not want to lose sight of carrying out the actual business. What I’ve learned from SMC is that when you get hyper-focused on the marketing aspect, the retailing aspect gets overlooked. So now, I will really need to actually sell for both businesses, the actual hard part of any business.

I was also thinking of revamping the logo for Metropolitan Muslimah but when I look at my egg of a logo again, I can’t help but feel like I should preserve it, pixelated and all. I simply used Paint to put it together. I know how to use a little Photoshop to create a better-looking logo but somehow, the pixelated egg captures the essence of who I am better.

Maybe I’m just being sentimental. Maybe I’m just being mental. Maybe I’m still raw and have not hit my prime 40s yet.

Anyway, it’s a small matter. MM isn’t a business like SMC or SG after all.
