In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Just a quick one before I turn in to sleep. Much has happened throughout the entire past week. It has been a crazy week. I don’t think I will be blogging much about it right now though.
In summary, basically le boyfriend and I are building our future together from negative to zero to something. Really, just during the past week we pretty much moved from one phase to another very quickly and miraculously. Only He knows best how grateful we are to Him. Although we have something right now, le boyfriend and I know not to be too comfortable with our situation because there are no guarantees in life. For myself personally, I will still treat us as being in the negative phase. Then in January 2017, we will be in the zero phase and then in February we will be in the something phase. Insya Allah, everything will work out well. Having everything is not our common goal. For us, we just want a moderate lifestyle with sufficient savings to live comfortably to the end of our days should we stop working. I find it important that I get to see this man work his way towards achieving his goals and our goals together. I believe that it will serve as a good reminder to myself personally in the future of our humble beginnings.
I also hope he won’t worry about having to buy me a lot of things.
Ladies, money can buy you a lot of things, yes, but those things you love cannot love you back. I have tried filling in the emptiness in my life with money before and that only leaves me lonelier than ever.
