I Ramble: 9 July 2017

In the name of Allah, the All-Compassionate, the All-Merciful.

Hais. I hope to be employed soon.

Anyway, I have been warming up to employment by taking up a low wage part-time job at Gul Way as an usher for a furniture warehouse sale yesterday and today. Le fiancé and I have to travel from Pasir Ris (because we wanna sit down) all the way to Joo Koon. It is more than an hour’s ride because sometimes the train stalls here and there.

Not an easy job because there is a lot of standing involved for le fiancé while I was lucky enough to be given a stool to sit on.

I won’t be earning much, just enough to pay telcos. I know, sounds crazy, right? But it’s a good test for the both of us, le fiancé especially. I am so glad to see that he was not having shortness of breath and he was in good spirits at the end of the day.

🙂

Thank you, Allah, for Your blessings on us.

And Allah is Ar-Rahman, the All-Compassionate. – MM
