In the name of Allah, the All-Compassionate, the All-Merciful.
So I got my first rejection email from the Japanese company I tried out for. A bit disheartened by it because, hey, who likes rejection? It does leave a bitter taste in my mouth, to be honest. Since it didn’t work out, I’ll reveal the name of the company now. It’s Works Applications and I applied for the position of Communication Staff. They expanded their business in Singapore in July 2012 if I’m not mistaken. They specialise in enterprise resource planning and process if I got that right too.
Anyway, that is all behind me now. The only way is forward but I’m quite anxious in awaiting the response from the public service.
So while I’m waiting, I looked for one-off part-time jobs. Found opportunities for this Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday but none has replied to confirm yet. So more waiting ensues.
However, I stumbled across an ad by a clothing line owner. He was looking for partners in building up the line. For now, it’s just print-to-order t-shirts but he hopes to expand it to caps and jeans in the future, Insya Allah. I’ll be meeting him on Friday to discuss further. Meanwhile, check out his stuff on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/streetmobclothing/) or Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/streetmobclothing/).
That’s all from me for now.
And Allah is Ar-Rahim, the All-Merciful. – MM
