In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
I haven’t been able to interview my husband nor produce a vlog because I have been soooo busy with work and life!
And now when I finally have time for myself, my husband is sick la pulak. How to interview? Hahaha!
Le husband taught me a little bit of guitar technique. Turns out I have been playing wrongly all my life! I played with too much movement when I should be minimising them to allow smoother transitions to other notes/chords. So you know, you won’t be getting those choppy note by note sound. I haven’t been consistent in learning guitar and hence I have been forgetful in its ways and knowledge. Boo.
The video is so useful for any songwriters looking to create a song out of just three simple chords and a melody line. It is always good to expose yourself to various players because you really get to learn a lot from varying techniques and well, there is never such a thing as having known it all. I always adopt a baka attitude towards everything in life. I don’t know, maybe I just love learning a lot.
I gotta admit I always enjoy guitar sessions with le husband. Just noodling on the guitar and enjoying each other’s presence. MUCH LOVE!
And oh hey, it finally struck us yesterday that we spent five months being married to each other! Yippy! So happy! The past five months have felt like five years. Not in the long and draggy sense but in the long and fulfilling sense. There is just so much..uhmm…how do I describe it…eto…we just feel so comfortable being with each other that we actually don’t feel too different…? I don’t know how to describe it. It just feels like home.
So here’s le husband’s favourite song to commemorate our 5 months together!!!
Yippy!
And Allah is Al-Muhaymin, the Guardian, the Preserver, and may He guard and preserve our marriage to infinity and beyond. – MM
