I Ramble: 19 July 2021

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Hello, again! It’s so dusty in here.

Right, July has been a month of sickness and recovery. Goodness.

Most annoyingly, that bout of high COVID cases came around again, especially during Raya, again.

But nothing is mentioned to stop crowdings caused by Pokemon Go. And nobody is urged to not celebrate National Day. Welcome to Singapore.

On with the times, alright. On par with the Western World’s increasing irrational fear of ladies in scarves.

Macam bodoh. (Like stupid.) Seriously. It’s just a fucking scarf. But if bikini, wah, must wear. Otak letak kat pantat. (Brain put at the ass.)

I can’t wait to leave this world but at the same time I still have a lot of debts to settle. Top priority is to be rid of my fasting debt. That’s my biggest debt in life, my debt to Allah.

Then comes the monetary debts. I am putting a timebomb, chey, no lah, deadline on my current job. I really need to go for a job that pays more than what I am bringing home right now, which is obviously not enough because Singapore is so fucking expensive.

In the meantime, while waiting for that time to draw near, I have to build savings to fall back on while waiting for the next job’s first pay, work on my resume (God knows my LinkedIn is outdated), and just focus on performing at my best at work.

Penat aku plan kadang-kadang. Dan kadang-kadang plan pun tak ke mana tapi takpelah, janji ada plan.

And Allah is Ar-Rahman, The Most Gracious. – MM
