Goodbye 2021; I Ramble: 29 December 2021

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Saying an early goodbye because I have decided to put a stop to this no-life nonsense that has plagued me for the entirety of 2021.

I would not go as far as saying that I did not achieve anything in the year.

But I find that many parts of my life are extremely frayed and disorganised. Basically, I did not spend any time paying attention to those aspects.

I am changing my life next year.

I have decided to reduce my commitment to my full-time job from 200% to 50% and the remaining 150% to be split between 50% on my part-time job and 100% on myself.

I will just go through the motions with the full-time job until my household’s finances have stabilised enough for me to leave it. No need to wait for a long service award and shit.

Goodbye, 2021. What a year you have been to me.

And Allah is All-Knowing. – MM
