The Ramadan Diary 2023: Day 5

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

I could feel my energy level going kaput today at work. I could feel my performance dipping like the snow from the tip of Mount Everest.

Today was really not my best day. Unfortunately, I only found out when I got home that I had most likely caught the flu bug at work.

Sighs.

Anyway, gotta cheer myself up and on because I had promised myself to work towards being grateful. And grateful I shall be.

Like for the fact that I am off tomorrow so I can take a rest.

So Alhamdulillah.

And bruh, it helps that there are so many people taking care of their prayers at the workplace that it makes me feel like an idiot when I miss one.

On a more interesting note, I am starting to learn more and more about my colleagues. I am just glad that I have a generally pleasant disposition that people feel comfortable to open up to me. I am grateful for their willingness to share their feelings and life experiences with me and I cannot wait to find out more about each unique individual.

And Allah is As-Salaam, The Giver of Peace. – MM
